Tahuya is an unincorporated community in western Mason County, Washington, situated on the Kitsap Peninsula where the Tahuya River meets Hood Canal. The community's name comes from a Twana term meaning "that done," a reflection of the area's deep roots in the indigenous Twana people who historically lived along the canal.
