Jenny managed our expectations -contacting us before and after an event. Her staging recommend s and note cards for the open house led to it's success. Zach was extremely helpful in our home search. We happened to meet Zach by chance, but in the end it worked out quite well for us. He possesses a lot of knowledge about the area which we were targeting for our home purchase (North Seattle), and after a few showings he got a very good idea of the kind of home we were looking for. That helped us a lot in narrowing down our choices. When we finally decided on our home, Zach moved pretty quickly with making a bid on the home, and completing the negotiation with the seller. Price wise, he was able to obtain a good deal for the home. He is extremely responsive, and answered all of our questions in the quickest possible manner. Even after we moved into our new home, he regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. He was very helpful during the whole transition process. We greatly appreciate his guidance in us going from being renters to homeowners. In terms of the purchase process, there were a couple of things which we felt could have gone better: 1. We had a tight closing date, which made it almost impossible for us to shop for the best loan options. We had no idea that there had been a slight change in the loan process in October, which made securing a loan slightly longer. We would have liked Zach to be cognizant of these changes, which would have helped us secure a better closing date. 2. The seller had agreed in the contract that he would pay the sewer capacity charges in full, and we were under the impression that we will get it in the form of a credit towards closing cost. However, later we came to know that the seller can only pay it directly to the county, and not to us. We would have expected Zach to know about this, especially since we were factoring in this money for closing costs.

Zack was a true pleasure to work with. He gave excellent advice that came from his knowledge of the industry and region and made the buying and selling process much more manageable. I would (and will) recommend him in a heartbeat.

We couldn't have asked for a better listing agent to sell our home than Doug. We are a recently retired couple moving back to Seattle after many years away. We found Andrew on the internet and met with him before we actually moved and found him to be personable, extremely informative and very helpful. So when we completed our move we began working with him. Andrew spent a lot of time introducing us to areas that would likely be in our price range and explaining the situation to us as buyers in a very competitive market. He was always accessible and very responsive (esp. via text), and if he didn't have the answer to a question he immediately got the answer from the right source. All in all, our experience working with Andrew was very positive. We felt we were getting good guidance all along, that he listened to us and was able to steer us toward properties we would be most likely to seriously consider, and that he wanted us to find a house that we truly felt good about. Andrew did a fantastic job representing both myself and my siblings during an estate sale for my brother's home. As my brother had been ill for some time, the house was in disrepair. His recommendations regarding "fixes" were spot on - not too hot and not too cold - just right to present the property in it's most favorable light while limiting expenses. I was also relieved that he managed all the work regarding these fixes as I do not reside in WA state and therefore I am unfamiliar with local contractors. I can't say enough good things about my experience buying a home with Andrew Schein. What stands out the most is his honesty and integrity. He found the absolute perfect home for me, but before he did, I had my eye on another house. He went through the inspection report and then told me not to go for it. He had too many concerns after reading the report. I told my friends about this and they were shocked. They said their experience with realtors was they will sell anything they can ( no offense to realtors!) but Andrew was not like that at all. His background in architecture and construction puts him at the front of the line in my opinion. He knows exactly what to look for in terms of red flags. What was very important for us was having a realistic eye with recommendations of what to invest in before listing the home - a reality check on things like whether or not to paint, etc. I am confident we struck the right balance there, with her help and suspect I would have wasted effort/expense on actions that ultimately were not necessary for our specific scenario. She was always open to help me run down things at the house, to open it up for pick ups, etc., during this part of the process, which in my case, living 45 minutes away, was extremely helpful. In evaluation of the offers, we also had to keep an eye toward the associated risks of an older home, owned by our family since 1968, that had been unoccupied for approximately 2 years. We benefitted from the excellent market, and ultimately were able to close quickly with a cash offer - very important to our specific situation with an estate. The house was open for showing and open house activity over the weekend for any offers to be received and reviewed on Monday night. Jenny reviewed them with us, helped us with title questions as we got the estate attorney's review, counter offered, and had mutual acceptance by Wednesday afternoon I believe. Our closing was complete in less than a month from the initial listing (and over the Christmas holidays). Overall, we appreciate Jenny's help and would recommend that you see her when the house has completed its renovation by a professional builder! We are confident it will be a beauty again.

Doug Holman's attention to detail really sets him apart from other sellers. I have sold four homes over the last 8 years and by far, Doug was the best. He stays engaged not only during the listing process but really takes the time to make sure the house is staged properly and is looking its best for a great sale. We sold our home at the slowest period of the year and he put in time to draw the few buyers in with open houses and networking with buyers agents. Doug did not encourage us to take the first offer on the table either as I have seen from other agents, he knew what we could target for a sale price and we stuck to our guns, it was worth following his good advice. I would use Doug again for either selling or buying and if you are in the market, I wouldn't recommend any other agent than Doug.
