We were looking for a rental house for our son in Shoreline. Since we are living in Hawaii and Covid-19, we needed a good buyer representative. We found Andrew Schein on Zillow and we had a Zoom meeting at the very beginning. We immediately felt we could trust Andrew, and we relied on his knowledge about houses and the Seattle market. Andrew is honest, hardworking, and confident. We found one house and want to know more about it. He drove to the house and took a video and told us the house is not good for us. He explained the reason very well. We found 5 more houses on Zillow, but Andrew was on vacation. He had a co-worker show these houses to my son. We picked our favorite house out of these 5 and asked several questions about the house. Despite being on vacation, Andrew drove back to Shoreline and took video and answered our questions. He was so nice and willing to help us. We decided to make an offer for the house. He never pushed us to make a quick sale. We really felt comfortable to ask any questions. He was very communicative and effective using texting and emailing. We made an offer and waited for the seller’s response. We signed everything online. Our offer was accepted, and he found building inspector right away. Andrew is well connected with local specialists. He found an incredibly good inspector and his report was excellent. We could not see the house in person, so we needed to rely on the inspector. Andrew helped us made a counteroffer based on the inspection report and it was successful. The closing was very quick and easy. Andrew was on top of everything. After closing, we needed floor repair and an electrician right away. Andrew recommended several contractors which was extremely helpful. They all knew Andrew and we could tell Andrew was respected among these professionals. We are using Andrew’s recommendation. We plan to fix the house the best we can. We know Andrew will be around for us when we need his support. We highly recommend Andrew to anyone who wants to work on a housing project. There is no way to find the perfect house, but you can come a long way with the help of a person as capable as Andrew.

We bought a home with Zach's help in Lake Forest Park. I was a first time buyer to I quite tentative and was not sure of the process and with Zach's help we were able to close the house within a month from the time we saw the house for the first time. We started looking for houses in December and we looking at house with whom so ever will respond to our query on ZIllow or Refin, but we found Zach to be the most responsive and most easy to talk about our priorities and what we were looking. Zach was very responsive and always ready to help with any questions we had. On the negotiation part, we paid the full list price of the house and there were some concession after inspection but my feeling was that we could have negotiated it a bit lower but Zach convinced me that it is not a good idea to negotiate down as the seller has other offers. I thought Zach could have done better on that front being the buyer's agent. He was being fair on both sides I guess. I guess every buyer feels that they could have squeezed it some more, so no real complains there either Overall I was very happy with the process and would definitely recommend Zach to other buyers. He was a pleasure to work with in every step of the process.

I knew selling my late mother's house would be a challenge. It was a modest house in a great neighborhood with views of the Space Needle and downtown but had not been updated in the 47 years my mother had lived there. Choosing the right realtor who could show its potential and generate a lot of interest would be the key factor in having a successful sale. After interviewing several candidates I felt that Andrew was that person. His knowledge of the neighborhood, negotiating experience and background in construction was a definite plus. After meeting with me several times to discuss strategy, Andrew created a marketing plan and timeline that would maximize exposure and encourage multiple offers, which was my goal. Andrew then executed his plan and after an extended showing period several strong offers were received, with the winning offer considerably higher than the listing price. Needless to say I was very pleased with the overall experience and outcome. Doug Holman’s the best. He helped me with the upleg of a 1031 exchange. I’m in the process of selling some real estate I own in California and re-invest in the Seattle area. I sold a small apartment in California without realizing how tight the Seattle market was and would have had a bad result if Doug wasn’t there to help me. Doug has such a command of the neighborhoods he works that he seems to be able to sense which properties will be best from the investment perspective. He also can look beyond the first impression and see hidden value. He has experience fixing up properties that might be undervalued in their initial state, and has an extensive list of contractors and handymen that he will recommend if the numbers work out. The market in Seattle was hard to break into in April 2013 but Doug kept working with me until I accomplished my objective, which was to find real estate that produced a very respectable rate of return. The properties are well enough located so they will probably appreciate nicely. I am managing the properties myself but had to return to California for an extended period. Doug has been kind enough to help me find handymen for a few small items that came up since my leaving. I’m an experienced investor and have worked with good realtors before. Doug is the best.

Jenny Boffiou was referred to my husband and I by my friend Michelle, who told me “Jenny is no nonsense and gets it done!” Jenny Boffiou turned out to be the greatest realtor we could ever have. First, Jenny is very competent and experienced and she knows how to price, show and sell properties. She sold our property to the first prospective buyer who attended the first open house. Second, Jenny kept us extremely well informed by giving us an early education on how to sell and by responding promptly to all our emails, text messages and calls. Third, Jenny prevented me from worrying by promptly giving me the answers, guidance and reassurance I needed. Jenny is down to earth, firmly grounded, generous, kind, intuitive and deeply caring. She is an excellent realtor and will always be our only realtor.

I was based in California throughout and house went only through basic cleanup/maintenance before being put up for sale so wasn't sure what to expect. In the end we went through several offers, three of which were accepted (one buyer pulled out at inspection stage, one buyer was not able to secure financing in spite of being pre-approved and final buyer for sale that went through). Throughout I was very happy with Zach as he guided me through the process, explaining all the intricacies and alternatives. When negotiation was needed, he would often suggest reasonable moves and counteroffers and provide context without being too pushy or hurried. I appreciated the balanced use of email/sms/phones to keep me informed and push things along. In the end house sold well above the asking price and the closing process was smooth. Overall I was quite happy and would gladly recommend Zach to my friends.
